Whether you call it organizational integration, cooperation, sales enablement, or just eliminating the stovepipes, these two organizations are often somewhere between a little out of synch to diametrically opposed when it comes to their interactions with customers and markets.
I’ve started to broaden my horizons by learning all I can about inbound marketing and social media. It’s a fascinating set of tools and a whole new way of looking at marketing and I’m loving it! I’m plying my developing skills by volunteering to help my wife and her partner with their real estate and short sale businesses. One aspect of their business that I’m particularly focused on at the moment is working with their Mortgage Debt Services organization.
Mortgage Debt Services helps homeowners who are at risk of losing their home to foreclosure. We first see if we can get them into a modified loan so they can stay in their property. If they don’t qualify, we then try to help them through the process of a short sale with a local Realtor. It’s very gratifying work and I have been successful in using my skills to grow their pipeline and make them more profitable.
